The Ibizan artist Irene de Andrés presents her exhibition "A Place Where Nothing Ever Happens" at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Ibiza
The Ibiza artist Irene de Andrés, graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid, presents the exhibition "A Place Where Nothing Ever Happens" in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Eivissa (MACE).
De Andrés has received multitude of scholarships and prizes for his artistic work and has exhibited his work in various corners of the world. His work is closely related to being born and raised in a major tourist destination such as Ibiza. You have recently completed a project about five discotheques abandoned on the island, and is currently delving into theanalogies between tourism and colonization in the search for a pre-designed paradise.
Exhibition opens 1 June 2017 Thursday at 19 hours and can be visited in the MACE lobby until 31 March 2018.
