This 2024, as is its custom, the Ibiza City Council organizes a complete program of activities for the 25-N, International Day for the Elimination of violence against women, to raise awareness about sexist violence and eliminate it.
The program is developed between November 12 and 30, 2024 in the Casal de Igualdad Of Ibiza.
The first proposal was a Microtheater Tuesday, November 12, 2024, but had to be cancelled due to the DANA forecast in Ibiza.
El Thursday 14th and Friday 15th November 2024 there is a professional communication course with a gender perspective for officials in charge of female doctors Star Montolio Duran and Irene Yufera Gomez.
El Thursday November 14 It is also projected in the Multicines Ibiza the movie “The girls at the station"At 19.00:XNUMX p.m., a feature film that reviews what love is and its conditions, with a debate later with its director, Juana Macias and actress Julieta Tobio with Marilina Ribas as moderator. Tickets, although free, must be collected at the Multicines.
El Monday 18 and Tuesday, November 19, 2024 From 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. the Casal de Igualdad will host the “20 years of Organic Law 1/2004, of November 28, on comprehensive protection measures against gender violence” in collaboration with the Consell.
El Wednesday, November 20, 2024 At 20:00 p.m. the short film exhibition “Sexual violence in cinema“, which reviews actions that we have internalized but that, in reality, are a sign of violence. After the screenings there will be a Roundtable to comment on all these dynamics that must be deconstructed.
El November 22 Friday 2024 At 19:00 p.m. the Casal hosts the screening of the award-winning film “A promising young woman”, by Emerald Fennell, with colloquium later.
El Thursday 28 November 2024 At 19:30 p.m. there is a new day of the Feminist Reading Club at the Equality Centre with the book “Dear Bud“, by Virginia Despentes.
El November 29 Friday 2024 The November session takes place Coeducational Storyteller, with "Is there anything more boring than being a pink princess?"Of Rachel Diaz Reguera, a story that reviews stereotypes and their perpetuation.
The program ends on Saturday 30 2024 November at 11:00 hours with the Microtheater “23kg. Stories of women who sustain life”, with colloquium later.
