The San Antonio City Council, through its Department of Equality, is also organizing a program of activities in 2025 on the occasion of the 25-N, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Womenreaffirming its commitment to equality and the fight against gender violence.
The activities are distributed on different dates of the Monday 24 to Friday 28 November 2025.
El Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 12 pm the reading of manifest against gender violence in front of the City Hall, as an institutional act of denunciation and commitment. That same day, from 17 am to 00 am, the Espai Jove hosts the workshop “Consenting is NOT allowing"Aimed at young people aged 12 to 18. Led by the center's instructors, it proposes a debate on affective relationships and concludes with a group reflection.
The programming continues on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 20 pm with the workshop “The one that is normal and the one that we have normalized", organized by the Center d'Educació de Persones Adultes (CEPA) of San Antonio, in collaboration with the Department of Equality of the UIB. The session will be held in Room 12, on Carrer de l'Estrella number 17.
In closing, the November 28 Friday 2025 at 10 pmThe Regio cinema hosts a cycle of five award-winning short films at the national and international level. The projection, aimed at 4th year ESO students of all the institutes in the municipality, seeks to raise awareness and prevent gender violence from an educational and audiovisual perspective.
In addition, throughout the week, from November 24-28, 2025 The municipal library will feature an exhibition of literary works with a gender perspective.
