The San Antonio City Council, through its Department of Equality, is also organizing a program of activities in 2023 on the occasion of the 25-N, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The activities are distributed on different dates of the Wednesday, November 22 to Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
The program starts the Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 19 hours in the Ses Coves Blanques Lighthouse with the colloquium 'Reflecting on the Rubiales case, unacknowledged violence and masculinity', with Enrique Sánchez Navarrete.
El Thursday November 23 de 11: 30 14 hours to and 16 to 18: 30 hours in the Passeig des Fonts There is a powerful street marketing and awareness campaign against gender violence: 'Closed doors', in charge of Marevents Women, an expert company in gender communication, which will offer participants an experience in which they will witness what a woman victim of gender violence suffers.
El Thursday November 23 at 20 hours in the Cervantes Cultural Center el Strain (Adult Education Center) will read a manifest, the project is projected short 'Elevator Violence' with subsequent discussion with Jimena Lopez, from the Family and Women Care Unit.
El Friday November 24 at 12 hours in front of the Town Hall there will be a reading of a manifest. And to the 19 hours there self defense workshop in the gym CEIP Vara de Rey imparted by Cristina Salgado and Gema Gil from the Hikari Dojo.
Besides of November 20 to 24 la Library Municipality of San Antonio will have a book table with themes focused on the gender perspective.
And on December 4 and 5 there are two presentations and three prevention and awareness workshops at the Espai Jove and in the institutes with the pedagogue and expert in sexist violence Ana Magallanes.
