The Sant Joan de Labritja Town Council and the Astronomical Group of Ibiza (AAE) have organized a Informative talk open to the public to bring one of the most extraordinary astronomical phenomena of the coming decades closer to the citizens: the total solar eclipse which can be seen from Ibiza next August 12th, 2026.
The session will take place on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 20:00 PM in the Plenary Room of the Sant Joan de Labritja City Council.
La Admission is free until completing the capacity.
No prior registration is necessary, although places are limited.
During the talk, attendees will be able to discover how it is produced a total solar eclipse, why the one in 2026 will be especially exceptional for the Balearic Islands and what recommendations You have to keep going to enjoy the observation in complete safety.
