The San Antonio City Council is organizing a new information session on forest fire prevention, designed especially for those who live near wooded areas and want to learn how protect your home in the face of possible risk situations.
The session will address self-protection measures, recommendations of plot maintenance and essential protocols to reduce vulnerability to fire, with clear guidelines applicable to everyday life.
During the meeting, key aspects such as the vegetation managementthe importance of maintaining security zones around the houses and the recommended actions before, during and after a fire, in order to minimize damage and improve the neighborhood response.
The talk is the December 18 Thursday of 2025 at 18 pm at the San Rafael Social Center.
An initiative that seeks to strengthen awareness and offer practical tools to protect the natural environment and the safety of the community.
