La San Juan Municipal School of Music launches a new Educational Talks Series, a proposal designed to open spaces for reflection on education, childhood and culture from diverse and current perspectives.
The program brings together professionals from different fields in accessible and friendly meetings, aimed at families, teachers, and anyone interested in learning and personal development.
The cycle starts the Friday 13 of March of 2026 at 19:00h with the talk "The value of education", in charge of Elvira Ramon and Vicky Alemany, who will address the role of education from an emotional and practical perspective, reflecting on the current challenges in supporting children and adolescents.
The second session will take place on 17 April 2026 Friday at 19:00h, under the title "What if they bring the bulb?", With Lucia Herranz, who will offer a critical perspective on the overprotection and the need to foster autonomy, resilience and independent thinking in children and young people.
The cycle will continue Friday 15 May 2026 at 19:00h with "A journey through the times through the music of Ibiza”, taught by Pere Prieto, a particularly attractive session for those who want to discover the historical and cultural evolution of music on the island from a popular science perspective.
The last appointment will be on Friday 29 May 2026 at 19:00h with the presentation of the book “Organiza-T", in charge of Juan F. Ballesteros, also director of the Municipal School of Music of San Juan, who also moderates the cycle.
All sessions are held at the Sant Joan de Labritja Municipal School of Music, with access Free until full capacity.
