Concerts, monologues, workshops, sports ... The Ibiza Town Hall organizes various activities to celebrate Women's Day from March 4 to 13, 2018
The city council of Ibiza has prepared a varied program of activities to celebrate the International Women's Day. The activities are developed from the 4 Sunday until Tuesday 13 of March of 2018 and include various cultural and recreational events to raise awareness of real equality between the sexes.
The most important day will obviously be Thursday, March 8, 2018, when there will be a batucada against Cetis by the Aiyé group. There will also be a workshop by the journalist Laura Ferrer Arambarri on sexism in advertising, the concert "Women interpreters of Ibiza" on Friday March 9, 2018 in the town hall and another of "Women composers" on Saturday 10, a cycle of Feminist cinema coordinated by Carles Fabregat on Tuesday 13 in Can Ventosa, and the classic Cursa de la Dona on Sunday 11 March 2018.
