Tourist Day in Ibiza: Free activities throughout the island

On Tourist Day in Ibiza, various free activities are organized in the five municipalities of the island, check the complete program here

As every year it is celebrated on the island at the end of summer Tourist day el 17 September 2026 Thursday as a tribute and gratitude to those who have visited the island for years, with varied and interesting annual organized by the Consell and the five town councils on the island.

There are a lot of proposals Returns, such as excursions, tastings, concerts, traditional folklore displays... We've got them all here for you!

Please note that unless otherwise specified, the event will be held on Tourist Day itself, Thursday, September 17, 2026.

Ibiza city

  • Cultural routes through Dalt VilaFree guided tours of the old town. Tours in English are offered at 10:30 a.m. and in Spanish at 18:30 p.m., departing from Paseo de Vara de Rey.
  • Dramatized visitAt 20:00 PM, an immersive experience along the historic city walls is offered. Advance booking is required by calling +34 673 771 451 or by contacting us online. Informacioturistica@eivissa.es.
  • Folklore and tastingAt 19:00 p.m., the Paseo de las Pitiusas on Figueretas beach hosts an exhibition of ball pagès along with a free tasting of local products.

 

Santa Eulalia – Activities postponed to Thursday, September 24

  • Open DoorsFree access from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:30 to 20:00 Museum of Ethnography from Ibiza, already the traditional house of Ca n'Andreu des Trull.
  • Tourist mini-trainFree departures from 10:00 to 13:00 from the information points of Cala Llonga and Santa Eulalia.
  • Sport and sea: Guided electric bike tour of Cala Llonga and activities of kayak or paddle surf in Cala Martina of 12: 00 to 14: 00 hours (subject to weather conditions).
  • Party in Es Canar: Boat trip with a glass background at 15:00 PM (subject to weather conditions), followed by a craft market, children's workshops and live music from 17:00 PM on the seafront promenade.
  • Traditional closureAt 21:00 PM, simultaneous screenings of traditional dance and distribution of typical sweets in the core areas of Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga and Es Canar.

San Jose

  • Information pointsThe service points of Cala de Bou and Sant Jordi ofrecen historical details and gifts institutional information for visitors during the morning.
  • Photo exhibition: Visit "It's Ball"Images by the photographer Giuseppe Concas revealing the secrets of traditional Ibizan dance, at 16:30 pm in San AgustínTo facilitate the arrival of tourists, there will be free bus from Cala de Bou (Pinet Playa) at 16:00 PM.
  • FolkloreAt 17:00 PM there is a traditional dance performance by Grup Folkloric Sant Jordi de ses Salines also in San Agustín.
  • Ibizan delicacies: At 17:30 p.m. it is held in San Agustín un Ibizan herb workshop, to learn how to make the island's most famous drink, followed by a tasting of traditional sweets.
  • kayak tourThe beach of s'Estanyol en Cala de Bou This activity is organized at 19:00 PM to enjoy the sunset over the sea. Limited spaces available, please register by email. turisme@santjosep.org.
  • Tastings: In Playa d'en BossaAt the artisan market, there will be tastings at 19:00 pm of Cafe Caleta and fritters, in charge of Fluxà.

Saint Anthony – Activities postponed to Tuesday, September 22 (see flyer)

  • Bibo Park: As he 17 Thursday such as Friday 18 September 2026 From 10:00 to 16:00, guided daytime tours of Bibo Park (Ibiza Botanical Biotechnology) are offered, along with a nighttime experience from 20:00 to 23:00. Places are limited; tickets must be collected in advance from the Tourist Information Office (Passeig de ses Fonts, 1).
  • Sea excursion: Tour along the northern coast of the municipality from 11:00 to 14:00, discovering from the sea some of the landscapes and enclaves of the San Antonio coastline. (Subject to weather conditions). Limited places available, you must collect your ticket in advance from the Tourist Information Office.
  • Traditional craftsThe Cultural Space Molí d'en Simó welcomes the a Carmen Tur's museum collection. There will also be a display of traditional crafts, from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 17:30 to 20:00.
  • Children's entertainment: Inflatable castles from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. on Passeig de ses Fonts.
  • Dance and MusicFrom 20:00 PM onwards, exhibitions are organized Ibiza dances in charge of Portmany Breeze Colla at the Passeig de ses Fonts.
  • Popular tasting: After the dance, a free tasting of typical pastries is offered to all attendees.
  • Art exhibitions: In the Far de ses Coves Blanques You can visit the sculpture and painting exhibition 'Sal+', by EL.RoL, And in Sa Punta des Moli, the sample 'From Pixel to Pigment', by NECKO.

San Juan Cancelled activities

  • Traditional dance: Simultaneously, at 19:00 p.m., in the Port of Sant Miquel an exhibition of the Colla de Balansat, And in the Arenal Gran de Portinatx is presented the Labritja group. Both points include Free distribution of typical Ibizan sweets.
  • Mare Nostrum Festival: Saturday, September 19, 2026 At 7:00 p.m.: As the closing event of the festivities, the 28th edition of the Eivissa Mare Nostrum Folk Festival will be held in Sant Vicent de Sa Cala.
