International Day of Persons with Disabilities in San Antonio

A morning to better understand the new support measures for people with disabilities and the resources available for families and professionals.

El City Hall of San Antonio organizes an informative day to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a meeting designed to provide clear and useful information about the recent legislative changes and available support services on the island.

The session focuses on the new arrivals introduced by the 8 / 2021, which reformed civil and procedural legislation with the aim of guaranteeing a full and accompanied exercise of legal capacity for people with disabilities.

The appointment proposes a practical explanation of these modifications and how they are applied on a daily basis through guardianship entities and foundations.

The event brings together a panel of leading professionals in the social and legal fields: María Victoria Torre Sustaeta, Doctor of Law and Judge of the Court of First Instance No. 4 of Ibiza and Formentera; representatives of the Aldaba Foundation, Specifically, the social worker Susana Rodríguez González and the lawyer Ramona Bagú Aguilar; and members of the CIAN Foundationwith the social worker Ana Moragues Mayans and the lawyer Alberto Rosauro Vivancos.

An opportunity to delve deeper into rights, support, and resources that can make a real difference for people with disabilities and their families.
