The Ibiza Town Hall, through its Equality department, presents the cycle “Family Space, growing in community“, a series of conferences designed for families with children between 3 and 12 years to facilitate a space for dialogue on sexuality.
The sessions are run by the nurse Miriam Alarcon and the Primary Education teacher Laura Garcia, both graduates of the Master's Degree in Sexology and Gender at the Fundació Sexpol.
They are celebrated Every Tuesday from 17:30 p.m. to 19:30 p.m. from January 21 to June 24, 2025 at the Casal de Igualdad of Ibiza city.
The initiative is divided into different activities:
-Of 17:30 to 18:00 hours: Welcome and free reading, with books and resources that will be provided there for you to discuss issues related to sexuality.
-Of 18:00 to 19:00 hours: Introduction to sexual education through games and activities led by Miriam Alarcón and Laura García.
-from 19.00 to 19.30 hours : the children will stay to do activities such as manipulative games, yoga, relaxation, while families can go to the book lending area or ask for recommendations.
Every month there will be different themes: in January will “Universe of emotions”", in in February, "Self-care and prevention", in March it will be "Gender and diversity”, a April It's time to talk about “Links and care”, a May will delve into the thorny issue of "Puberty", And in June A little recap will be made under the title “What have we learned?”
