The San Juan City Council organizes the III Sa Matança Fair or the third Ibiza Slaughter Fair in the town of San Lorenzo, a celebration that pays homage to one of the island's most deeply rooted gastronomic and community traditions.
The appointment is December 13 Saturday of 2025 from the 12 pm and even 19 pm.
Each edition brings together hundreds of locals and visitors attracted by the festive atmosphere, the traditional flavors and the charm of this small village in the municipality of San Juan.
The fair retains its essence. There will be competitions and tastings of traditional dishes which include Frita de Porc, squid with sobrasada and slaughterhouse rice, and in all preparations pork will be the main ingredient.
Furthermore, there will be no shortage of gastronomic demonstrations and sale of local products, supporting producers who preserve traditional recipes and methods.
Throughout the day, the public will also be able to enjoy live music, family activities and cultural offerings linked to the peasant tradition, following the model of previous editions.
