The Ibiza Council is organizing a new edition of the Seniors' Festival, a day full of interesting activities that is organized in collaboration with various entities, such as the Pitiusa Federation of Seniors' Associations, the Creix Seniors' Association, the Ibiza Red Cross and the UIB Open University for Seniors, in addition to the five town councils of the island.
The party is celebrated on Saturday 11 of April of 2026 de 10 to 00 pm at the Exhibition Center of Ibiza.
Throughout the day, the space fills with cultural and participatory proposals which reflect the vitality of the group. From the start with the official inauguration, the program includes Dance party in charge of Federation of Colles, performances by singing Coral, sessions of line dancing and exhibitions from different groups of seniors on the island, who showcase styles as varied as country, mambo or Spanish dance.
One of the highlights comes with the theatrical performance “It's a small coffee shop that makes miracles.”, organized by the Sant Agustí Senior Citizens Association, providing that theatrical and personal touch that characterizes this type of gathering.
New to this edition is an educational proposal focused on local heritage: the talk “The traditional farmhouses of Eivissa, a unique heritage heritage”, with tasting included, which highlights the island's beekeeping tradition from a cultural and gastronomic perspective.
The day is completed with the traditional sorority lunchas well as with continuous activities throughout the day, including a slingshot shooting exhibition in charge of JASA Club and animation of Les Pageses Emprenyades, which contribute to that characteristic festive atmosphere.
