Come the Festivities of Sant Bartomeu 2024 fill the town with San Antonio another summer of the most varied musical, cultural and sporting activities, with three main events: the La Movida party, the Brisa Flamenca and Aborígena festival, one of the great novelties of this year.
The program starts the Saturday August 3 with the VII Festival Flamenco Breeze and extend to the September 8 2024.
El Saint Bartholomew's day, the big day of the patron saint festivities, is the Saturday August 24 2024 and will have a Children's party with Piruleto with water games and entertainment in the morning and, in the afternoon, solemn mass, procession and country dance with the Colla de Can Bonet, party La Movida, With the Djs Petit & Vazquez on the beach of s'Arenal that will culminate with the traditional Fireworks castle that will light up the bay at midnight.
As before Sant Bartomeu, the Friday August 23, the Fresh party, with horchata and fartons and the children's party The Movidita with Cachirulo.
The main novelties of this year are Aboriginal, a festival of music, art, culture and well-being from Malaga that is celebrated in sa Punta des Molí with workshops, healthy activities, market, art gallery, shows, rituals and fashion; and the free days of Astro Magic Lights en Bibo Park.
There is also exhibitions, a bunch of Children's activities, varied workshops, shows such as Variety Evening (August 18), the New Moves Sant Antoni dance (August 31 and September 1), the Earth Festival (September 1), the Sant An Fresh hip hop Festival (August 17), classic sporting events such as the XXIV Swimming crossing to sa Cova de ses Llagostes, XXIII Canoe Day or the Festes de Sant Bartomeu mini-marathon, among many others, and the impressive battle of tomatoes in the Feast of Carthaginians and Romans.
Also returning this year is the photography contest on Instagram'My favorite corner', in which you can participate until September 7, 2024.
