The San Antonio City Council and the Institut d'Estudis Eivissencs organize “Ibiza for peace, no to war“, seven exciting days with different artistic interventions that take place in the beautiful exhibition space of the Far de ses Coves Blanques.
The project, created and curated by Juan Garcia Gatica and Antònia Torres Yourr, is developed from Thursday, November 28 to Saturday, December 7, 2024.
More than 100 people are taking part in the event. 75 artists who have joined this cause in solidarity with their creations. During the days there will be painting, installations, sculpture, video art, photography, plastic interactions, poetry, creations of instrumental and contemporary music, performance, choral music, contemporary and performative dance.
The idea of this group of artists and intellectuals is to make us reflect on peace as an essential good for human beings, in these times of destruction and war throughout the world.
El Thursday 28 November 2024 The opening ceremony is celebrated with a painting exhibition of the artists The film stars Carles Guasch, Juan Garcia-Gatica, Julia Fragua, Antonia Torres Tur, Josefina Torres, Adrian Cardona, Carles Fabregat, Miquel Farriol, Franco Botto, Danchu, Maria Catalan and Vera Stühler.

El Saturday 30 2024 November At 18:30 hours there will be a dance-performance in charge of Gabriela Barberio, Romina d'Angelo and Lucas Pereyra with 'Echoes of pau'. The following will be held performance 'Endevina, who is going to soup this night' with Lina Ardiñach and Julia Fragua and a performance of contemporary dance de Claudia Roldan. Finally, the space will host the poetic interventions de Marina Planells, Charo Navarro, Ivan Alvarez on piano and Nuria del Rio, as well as a ballade popular in charge of the groups of country dances from the municipality of San Antonio.
