El Can Jeroni Cultural Center, in San José, hosts the first edition of the World Flaó Days, an event that highlights this sweet treat so closely linked to Ibiza's identity.
For three days, of Friday 10 to Sunday 12 of April of 2026The event offers a complete tour of its history, its variations and its evolution, combining Talks, culinary demonstrations, tastings and cultural events that broaden our perspective on this gastronomic icon.
The program begins with an institutional opening and a talk dedicated to the world of flaó, followed by a tasting of local products by the Association of Bakers and Pastry Chefs of Ibiza and Formentera.
Throughout the weekend, the proposal also opens up to other Mediterranean traditions with demonstrations such as the franguni from Calabria or the flaons from Torroella de Montgrí, in addition to recipes from Sardinia and an interesting approach to the historical flaó based on ancient documents.
Throughout the event, various tastings take place, allowing for the comparison of styles, techniques, and nuances, offering a complete experience for both those who already know this dessert and those who are discovering it for the first time.
