La Ses Dotze Naus Foundation launches a new edition of its prestigious Open Call 2025-2026 Artist Residency, which will take place in two phases and extends to June 2026. The three artists selected this year are Diogo da Cruz, Gala Knörr and the Ibizan Marina Marón And the three of them are now beginning their stay on the island with an initial phase focused on research and dialogue with the territory and its communities.
This residency seeks to generate connections meaningful to the local context, offering artists time, space, curatorial support and resources to develop projects that engage with the realities of Ibiza from a contemporary perspective. The edition has received over 200 international applications and has been curated by Elise Lammer (Halle Nord, Geneva), Javier Aparicio (El Chico Gallery, Madrid) and Ángeles Ferragut, founder of the Ibiza foundation.
La early stage, which is being held this fall, includes a free public program Saturdays November 29, December 6 and 13, 2025In the morning. Each activity is designed and led by one of the residents, and aims to bring the public closer to their work and research process through a participatory experience:
- Saturday, November 29, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. – La Carpintería.
"Architecture without an architect" to Marina Marón.
Clay workshop to experience, from intuition, the geometry of the traditional Ibizan farmhouse and its connection to the Ibiza landscape.

"Take a Salt Walk" to Diogo da Cruz.
A performative walk through the salt flats that combines sound, narration and geological reflection to think about landscapes as living archives.

"Tender is the night" to Gala Knörr.
A visual workshop that explores Ibiza club culture through painting, body memory, and the collective emotions that emerge from dancing.

The guest curator for this edition is Cristina Anglada, independent art critic and co-curator of the Opening section of ARCOmadrid, who accompanies the artists throughout the entire process.
