A group of young people from Ibiza, ironically describing themselves as "suspicious," have decided to organize and create the Ibiza Youth Association, a new entity that is born with the will to to build community, share cultural concerns and keep local traditions alive from an open and contemporary perspective.
The project is presented in Can Jordi Blues StationCan Jordi, one of the island's most unique meeting places, is known for its welcoming atmosphere, its history linked to live music, and its role as an intergenerational gathering spot. It's no coincidence that this space is hosting the association's first public meeting, an association that aims to be as diverse and vibrant as Can Jordi itself.
The presentation day combines music, peasant dance and workshops, conceived not as an exhibition, but as a Invitation to participate, learn and shareThe idea is clear: to create a space where young people can meet, express themselves and connect with Ibiza's popular culture naturally, without rigidities or labels.
The presentation is the Saturday 3 of January of 2026 at 11 pm, a perfect excuse to start the year surrounded by good energy and people eager to do things.
The meeting is open to anyone curious about this new association and who wants to join a project that focuses on... collective and in the cultural roots.
A simple, approachable and meaningful proposal that invites you to spend the morning in good company and discover a young initiative that promises to make waves in the island's cultural scene.
