The town of Santa Eulalia joins the celebrations of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of sailors, a holiday widely celebrated on the island historically due to the importance of fishing.
The appointment is Sunday 16 of July of 2023 from the 19 hours.
First thing in the morning there will be a Mass in the Lourdes Chapelfollowed by a procession to the pier, which will then continue across the sea to deliver the offering to the virgin, as is the custom.
To conclude this festive day, at 20:30 hours the Club Náutico Santa Eulalia will offer a tasting of orelletes, a typical Ibizan sweet, accompanied by snacks at the Sailing School from town.
