Som Pagès, women who are transforming the rural world

On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, an interesting round table discussion will be held in Ibiza with pioneering female farmers and livestock breeders in the Balearic rural area.

El Ibiza Daily Club hosts the eventWe are farmers. Women who break barriers in the rural world', a day dedicated to highlighting the transformative role of women in agriculture and livestock farming in the Balearic Islands.

The event is celebrated on November 18 Tuesday of 2025 at 18 hours.

The event begins with the official opening by the Balearic Government, followed by a discussion with Guillem Bibiloni, director of AgroBank in the Balearic Islands, before giving way to the central round table.

Among the participants, the following stand out: Mª Francisca Parets Amengual, managing director of Cooperatives Agro-alimentàries Illes Balears, who will contribute her institutional perspective on the sector. Also participating are Neus Costa Ferrer, veterinarian and livestock farmer of the Ses Fornas Farm in San Rafael; Marina Cardona Baos, an organic farmer from Can Puvil, president of the APAEEF association; and Maria Antònia Ferrer Ribas, farmer in Can Massaueta, Santa Eulalia.

The table will be moderated by Alicia Morales, agricultural technical engineer, and will culminate with a open discussion to the public, scheduled for the 19 pm, before the closing of the event.
