La Ses Dotze Naus Foundation organizes a nice activity designed for children, specifically a workshop for boys and girls between 8 and 12 years old with the french artist Damien Paulin.
The activity is linked to the collective exhibition «Prelude«, which can be visited until Saturday, February 3, 2022 in The carpentry, the Foundation's production and exhibition space, and is the culmination of this summer's program of Ses Dotze Naus at La Carpintería, where the workshop will also be held.
It is done the Saturday 3 2022 September in time 10 a 13 Hora.
That same day is also the last day to visit the exhibitions "Prelude", with works created in Ibiza by Ana Laura Aláez, Karen Paulina Biswell, Martine Feipel and Jean Bechameil, Juan Gómez Alemán, Nihat Karatasli, Jesús de Miguel, Damien Poulain, Santiago Ydáñez and Zeltia Montes, and «Table-01«, showcasing the work of island potters Anneliese Witt, Elena Noguera Wilson, Inés Ventós, LADIO Ceramics, Marina Marón and Natalie Rich-Fernández.
Damien Poulain created the flags that are part of the "Prelude" exhibition during the 2016 artist residency, drawing inspiration from the electronic music that plays on the island. In this workshop, with the techno track «bang the boxAs a starting point, the artist invites boys and girls to draw what they feel and translate it into colors and shapes. With this material they will build masks expressing their emotions and participate in a collective performance. At the end, they can take your creation home.
Damien Paulin He is a graphic designer and illustrator and works in a wide variety of formats, with public spaces being his favorite canvas. In addition, he has founded the contemporary photography publisher oodee. His work has innumerable influences and his projects invite the intercultural engagement, spreading a universal message of love, beauty and possibilityd.
