the exclusive six senses ibiza welcomes a SEN Ikebana flower arrangement workshop, taught by the renowned instructor Zizi Sensei, an activity that offers you the unique experience of immersing yourself in the traditional Japanese art of Ikebana, known for its beauty and symbolism.
The workshop is celebrated on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 16:00 p.m. to 17:00 p.m., as well as the Friday, September 20, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..
After 60 minutes, you will learn about the origins, history and techniques of this ancient art, which began as a practice of zen buddhist meditation.
Guided by Zizi Sensei, an instructor with more than eight years of experience, you will be able to create your own floral arrangements while you immerse yourself in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The instructor will wear a traditional Japanese kimono, which will add a touch of authenticity and elegance to the experience.
The workshop includes fresh flowers and a Kenzan, a specialized Ikebana stand, which you can take home. They will also provide you with authentic japanese tools for you to use during the session (you can reserve them in advance).
