La Balansat Church, in San Miguel, opens its doors in a very special way with “Balansat Church. A trip in the temps"A dramatized visit which invites the public to immerse themselves in the past of this historical enclave through a immersive experience.
Far from a conventional visit, the proposal combines narration, interpretation and stage setting to reconstruct the memory of the temple and those who inhabited it. Throughout the tour, different characters come to life thanks to the performances of Lourdes Ferrer and Vicent Palermet, in a production of Neus Torres and Miguel Vingut which aims to bring heritage closer from a a close, didactic and emotional perspective.
The project, which continues the path begun last year with great success, has a clear objective: to highlight the historical role of the rural churches of Ibizanot only as places of worship, but also as refuge, meeting point and axis of community life during centuries.
In this case, the tour focuses on unique elements of Balansat, such as its architecture, Its decorative detailsAnd the popular devotion that has shaped its history. The experience is conceived as an authentic journey into the past, where each scene helps to better understand the symbolic value of the place, with a rigorous documentary basis that supports all the content.
The visit takes place on Saturday 18 of April of 2026, with two passes, one to the 18:00h and another at 20:00h.
