La Dalt Vila Refectory Hall opens its doors to “Arrels of the future”, a group exhibition of the School of Art of Ibiza which brings together some of the proposals developed by its students and serves as a showcase of the creative talent that is currently being developed on the island.
The title of the exhibition itself raises an interesting dialogue between tradition and experimentation: roots as a starting point and the future as a territory for artistic exploration.
The poster already offers a clue to this approach. The image of a puzzle made up of fragments of different works, textures, drawings, and compositions functions as a metaphor for a collaborative exhibition, built from multiple languages, disciplines and sensibilitiesEach piece retains its identity, but at the same time forms part of a collective project that reflects the creative diversity that coexists in the Escola d'Art d'Eivissa.
The exhibition allows visitors to explore works related to different educational areas within the center and discover how the new generations of artists They interpret issues such as identity, memory, contemporary image, or creative processes.
