The auditorium of the cultural center of Can Ventosa, in Ibiza town, hosts the play "Way to the zoo“. This is a version of the work written by the Pulitzer Prize winner Edward Albee, adapted by Juan Carlos Rubio and Bernabé Rico.
The work is carried out by the actors Mabel del Pozo, Fernando Tejero and Dani Muriel and directed by Juan Carlos Rubio and tells us about a couple, Peter and Ann, marked by feelings of lack of communication and loneliness. Fleeing Ann's attempt to deal with the situation, Peter decides to spend a day at the Central Park Zoo, where he will meet Jerry, an eccentric character who forces him to listen to his stories. Until the last and creepiest of all: the real reason for his visit to the zoo.
Originally titled “Peter & Jerry, At Home at the Zoo,” the story we see combines Albee's classic short play The Zoo Story (1959) with its prequel, “Homelife” (2004). .
