Subtle Density, Manuel Salgado's exhibition in San Antonio

The Ses Coves Blanques Lighthouse in San Antonio hosts the sculpture exhibition "Subtle Density" by Manuel Salgado.

The multidisciplinary artist Manuel Salgado presents the exhibition «Subtle Density", a sample of sculptures that explore the transformation of matter and connection between art and nature and that you can visit in the beautiful exhibition space of the Lighthouse of Ses Coves Blanques.

Manuel Salgado's work is characterized by the use of organic shapes inspired by nature and by a constant eexploration of change as a creative engine.

As he himself explains, “Art is a tool of transformation"These sculptures reflect an intimate process, where the invisible becomes present in the tangible." He adds: "Each piece is designed to awaken the viewer's sensitivity and remind us of the transformative power we all carry within."

Thus, in this exhibition each sculpture, with its particular language of shapes and textures, acts as a mirror that reflects our own capacity for change. Living rock from Ibiza transformed by Salgado, who highlights its quartz veins and its ability to capture light, turning what heavy into light, opening the solid to the void and revealing to us the interior luminosity of the stone.

The inauguration is held on Wednesday 23 of April 2025 at 18 pm and will have a performance in charge of Franco Botto and Claudia Reig at 20 hours.

You can visit it until the 3 of May of 2025, with a schedule of Tuesday to Friday from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and 17:00 to 20:00 hours.
