All over the world the International Museum Day el May 18th. Under the slogan "The future of museums in ever-changing communities"Various activities are being organised this year in the museums of Ibiza Town.
The programming starts on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 17:00 PM to 19:00 PM with the talk "Introduction to symbols in art", presented by the teacher and coach Samanta Pinya, with a presentation by Elena Ruiz, director of MACE (capacity limited to 51 people).
El Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Ruiz will offer a tour to the museum's permanent collection and the temporary exhibition MACE Focus VII (capacity for 25 people).
El Sunday May 18 2025, coinciding with International Museum Day, all museums from Ibiza celebrate Open house from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.. En el MACE, in addition, there will be a Special guided tour at 12:00 noon by the artists Nico Munuera and Albert Pinya, who will comment on their exhibited works.
The most unique proposal will arrive on Friday 23 of May 2025 from the 19 pm, with a unique experience: sleep inside the MACE. Only 10 people will be able to participate in this artistic evening, for which it will be necessary to bring sleeping bag, mat, food for dinner and breakfast, and a notebook to take notes. The activity will end on Saturday the 24th at 10:00 a.m.
As a closing of the cycle, the Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 17:00 PM to 19:00 PM a session will be held sharing in the museum's auditorium to reflect on everything they had experienced.
