All over the world the International Museum Day this Monday May 18th 2020.
Like the rest of the Balearic museums, the Ethnographic Museum of Ibiza joins the Museumweek.
Together with the Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera it will present each day a theme following the international hashtags: #TogetherMW; #Museum MomentsMW; #ClimateMW; #TechonolgyM; # DreamsMW… Thus, during 7 days there will be 7 themes or hashtags with which the museums will be able to spread subjects and objects of their collection in a virtual way, to try to reach the public that has more difficulty in accessing the museums. And it is that this year's theme at the MuseumWeek is "Museums for equality: diversity and inclusion".
In turn, the MACE (Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza) organizes a virtual visit commented by the director, Elena Ruiz.

In addition, MACE will offer explanatory videos of works by Rafel Tur Costa, Edmund de Waal, Rom Ero, José Maria Yturralde, Han Hinterreiter, Adofo Schlosser, Gilbert Herreyns, Isabel Echarri, Marcel Floris, Erwin Bechtold, Irene de Andrés and Barry Flanagan.
