This 3 May 2025 Saturday at 20 pm, the stage of Can Ventosa It transforms into a mirror for the soul with the representation of «Edmond«, a contemporary work as intense as it is revealing, which invites the public to immerse themselves in a night of vertigo, decisions and inner rupture.
The proposal, directed by the prestigious Pitus Fernandez, is an adaptation in Catalan from the original text of David MametPulitzer Prize-winning playwright and author of films such as "The Untouchables" and "The Postman Always Rings Twice".
In this version of the companies Xàfec Teatre and La Clota, the viewer accompanies Edmond, a seemingly “normal” man, on a night of transformation and emotional decline, following an unexpected revelation that shakes him completely.
The production shines for its scenic strength with the performances of Aleix Rengel, Ruth Llopis, Rodo Gener and Pedro Morlàa whirlpool bath, artisanal and minimalist scenography that adapts to the 23 different spaces of the work, and an original soundtrack by the Menorcan composer Pere Pelegrí, with experience in major international studios such as Warner Bros. and Fox.
