The auditorium of the cultural center of Can Ventosa hosts the play “the man who Planted Trees“, a show awarded with the FETEN Award for Best Playwriting that comes to us thanks to PLATE program.
The play tells the story of Elzéard Bouffier, an imaginary but entirely believable shepherd who for many years planted trees in a large area of Provence and turned what was once a desolate wasteland into an area full of life and greenery. .
It is the story of the meeting of two men in the middle of a great loneliness, the shepherd who dedicates his life to reforest the environment in which he lives to save the Earth and a young man who is looking for himself, and discovers that the will and generosity They are weapons of resilience.
