La Can Jeroni Exhibition Hall in San José inaugurates “However“, the new exhibition by the Ibizan artist Aída Miró, a visual journey that challenges traditional ways of looking the feminine, the symbolic and the intimate.
Curated by Matilde Llado, the exhibition comes after “Hereva” and "Ancestral", continuing his journey through the collective memory, female identity and the symbolic power of art.
The exhibition breaks stereotypes, challenging tradition and demanding equality from fresh, colorful and deeply personal look, with works starring women artisans, dreamers, women farmers, rebels, who have fun and achieve great things complicity.
Aída Miró combines classical and contemporary techniques: from the realistic oil and resin, splash vibrant, and his works refer to the universe of Almodóvar, to family constellations and triptychs that dialogue with the present.
The inauguration is the Friday 30 May 2025 at 19 pm and, as is usual in the artist's exhibitions, the event will feature a performance by Elena Ribas and other artistic interventions, which will give the event that performative and ritual touch that so characterizes the universe of Aída Miró.
The exhibition can be visited until June 15, 2025.
The room is open wednesday to sunday de 10: 30 13 to: 30 hours and thursday to saturday de 18:00 to 21:00 hours.
