The culture room of Can Jeroni, located in the town of San José, hosts the exhibition “Essence of Ibiza“a collection of paintings by María García de Leonardo.
A series of works that she herself defines as “marine abstractions“where the sea is portrayed from different perspectives, reflecting its shores and depths with paintings overflowing with light and textures, for which various materials are used, such as sand, marble, mica or construction materials.
Belonging to the pictorial current of material painting, the Valencian artist based in Ibiza María García de Leonardo (Valencia, 1983) is a lawyer by training and an abstract artist by vocation and works primarily on commission for individuals and interior designers.
“Esencia Ibiza” opens on November 8 Friday 2024 at 18:30 hours with a little cocktail.
Can visit until November 17, 2024.
Visiting hours are Monday to Sunday de 10: 30 13 to: 30 hours and thursday to saturday also 17:30 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.
An exhibition that is fundamentally inspired by the sea, light and energy of Ibiza and that offers us “a natural immersion through the canvas.”
