The culture room Sa Nostra Sala, In Ibiza city, it is filled with art with the exhibition "30 artists to Ibiza", an exhibition that brings together the work of Thirty female artists linked to the island.
Under the curatorship of Susana Cardona and Joan Albert RibasThe exhibition presents a selection of artists from different generations and styles, all with one thing in common: Ibiza as a source of inspiration and space for creation.
A tour of the diversity and richness of female art on the island in which they participate Patricia Boned, Anna Maria Burrut, Rita Bretones, Diana Bustamante, Maria Catalán, Marie-Antoinette Courtens, Julia Fragua, Aphon Hengcharoen, Jussara, Concha Ibáñez, Elizabeth Rose Langford, Carmen Liberal, Elizabeth Louy, Paola López-Guerra, Teresa Martínez Hernán, Aïda Miró, Charlotte Mensford, Sara Nechamkin, Guillermina Puget, Marta Raffo, Júlia Ribas, Romanie Sánchez, Goya Sandic, Marjatta Sarasalo, Doralice Souza, Marta Torres, Josefina Torres, Mr. Reychel, Clarina Vicens and Uta Wohlfarth.
One of the axes of the exhibition is the vindication of the figure of Anna Maria Borrut, considered one of the first female painters from Ibiza. Born on the island and trained at the Escola d'Arts i Oficis and in Barcelona, she was a pioneer in exhibiting in spaces dominated by men, paving the way for future generations of artists.
There is also a new feature: Sa Nostra Sala It will open on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m., not only to visit the exhibition, but also with cultural activities for kids and adults.
La inauguration is the Wednesday 5 of March of 2025 at 20 hours.
You can visit it until Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The schedules are Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and from 17:30 p.m. to 20:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.
The exhibition is part of the activities organized around the International Women's Day.
