The sophisticated hotel Ocean Drive Talamanca hosts the collective art exhibition related to the OD Art Awards, awards given OD Group in recognition of the best contemporary artists of Ibiza, in collaboration with Ibizart GuideThese awards were created seven years ago and also have a social and cultural awareness aspect.
In this seventh edition the inspiration for the works presented to this contest is something as Ibizan as “The salt“. A fundamental element and flavour in the island's culture, which was its main industry, previously even called “White gold"and it can be the spark of life (or someone's) as well as a relaxing bath bomb or whatever makes the difference in a dish.
La preview of the exhibition is the 27 Friday of September of 2024 at 19: 30 hours.
The opening will be attended by very special guests, including artists exhibiting their works such as Cristina Ferrer, Sohar Villegas, Anthony Gofer, Julian Molina or EL.RoL, among others, and the members of the jury, composed of John Michael Costa (Island Director of Tourism), Elena Ruiz (Director of MACE) or Carmen Cardona (Culture Technician at Ibiza Town Hall).
The exhibition can be visited until the 13 October of 2024.
The winners will be announced at the event. awards, which takes place on Friday 18 2024 October.
