The Madrid artist living in Ibiza Ana Blanco García, known by her stage name “Earth“, presents his works in an exhibition in Can Tixedó under the title of “Gravity"
In this exhibition the artist reflects on the gravitational forces, both at a general level in relation to the way matter is related in the Universe, and in terms of the human body, its center of gravity and its relationship with the movement.
The sample is made up of 15 oils, some large format, starring “the tension of the muscles and the movement of the bodies.”
This representation of bodies that perform movements that seem almost impossible serves Ana Blanco as a metaphor to talk about the people and the resilience of human beings.
