The Ibiza City Council organizes a complete program to commemorate the 25 years of Ibiza World Heritage Site, and, the first of them, is an exhibition of the great Ibizan painter Antoni Marí Ribas Portmany (1906-1974).
The exhibition also coincides with the 50th Anniversary of death of which is considered the best cartoonist who the island has had, born on February 3, 1906 and died on May 22, 1974.
The Historical Archive of Ibiza and Formentera has a complete Portmany collection, nourished by numerous donations and enriched in recent years with three purchases that are now on display to the public for the first time. The collection has numerous drawings of different formats, three watercolors and three oil paintings, there will also be other works in the exhibition, loaned for the occasion.
The exhibition opens on January 26 Friday of 2024 at 20 hours in the Refectory Room, in Dalt Vila. The inauguration will have a small concert by the violinist Ramses Bridge and the cellist Carles Evenings.

The room opens from Monday to Friday from 9 to 14 hours and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.
