Space Sa Nostra Room hosts the exhibition «Carles Guasch. Works 2020–2025«, a selection of thirty pieces that summarize five years of work by the renowned Ibizan artist.
The exhibition reflects a stage of creative maturity, where language abstract Guasch distances himself from fashions and deliberately renounces titles.I don't want to condition the viewer's gaze. The exhibition also includes a musical piece composed by the musician Adolfo Villalonga, inspired by one of the painter's works. A fusion of visual and sound arts that adds an additional dimension to the experience.
Trajectory and commitment to the island
Carles Guasch trained at the Ibiza School of Arts and Crafts and the Massana School in Barcelona. Over the past few decades, he has been a key figure in the island's art scene, not only as a creator but also as a cultural manager, exhibition curator, and active member of artists' associations.
The exhibition opens on 19 June 2025 Thursday at 20 hours.
