El Ibiza Municipal Image and Sound Archive (AISME) inaugurates “The Ibiza of the mid-20th century”, a photographic exhibition by the Norwegian Per Lund which allows us to contemplate what Ibiza was like in the last century, including many businesses that have already disappeared, the life of La Marina and various characters on the island.
The photographer Per Lund arrived in Ibiza in 1953, months after his wife Lili and daughter Anja, and lived between the island and Oslo until 1972, the year of his death.
The exhibition, which is framed within the 35th Anniversary of AISME and the celebration of the inauguration of the Historical Archive of Ibiza and Formentera (AHEiF), is organized thanks to a donation from his daughter Anja Lund of 60 photographs and negatives.
“The Ibiza of the mid-20th century” opens on Thursday August 29 2024 at 20:00 hours in the Refectory Room of the Town Hall where there will also be a sonada pagesa.
You can visit the exhibition until September 28, 2024, from Monday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 14:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 13.30:XNUMX p.m.
