The wonderful exhibition space The Salinas Ship, next to the famous beach, presents every summer the works of a great international artist, and the chosen one this year is the Hungarian artist based in Vienna Eva Beresin.
Beresin is the first woman to exhibit at La Nave Salinas and also her exhibition “Daily practices of deadly sins and other nonsense” It will also be his first exhibition in Spain.
The works by Beresin that we will be able to enjoy this summer in this unique space focus on the idea of comic nature of tragedysomething intrinsic to human behavior. They are scenes that represent the banality of the grotesque and that seek to reflect those contradictions always present in life. Eva Beresin's paintings defy any singular interpretation, and her artistic explorations break traditional dichotomies; lightness and solemnity, beauty and ugliness, sinfulness and innocence.
Through an exciting artistic language, his works constantly appeal to the risky and radical and this particular exhibition combines large works with smaller ones, and includes works made expressly for the show.
