El Moon Poetry Festival Juny Celebrates his Edition 32 counting, as usual, on the presence of great national and international poets, and also incorporating new voices, artistic expressions and disciplines such as talks, painting, music or dance.
The contest, directed by the well-known cultural promoter Carles Fabregat, the Friday 4th and Saturday 5th October 2024, under the motto «Avui, demà i ahir. La paraula viva» (“Today, tomorrow and yesterday. The living word”).
The festival kicks off Friday 4 2024 October at 20 pm at the Cloister of the Ibiza Town Hall with the celebration of the Night of Poetry, central event of the Lluna de Juny Poetry Festival, with the poets Anna Gual as a special guest, Antoni Xumet Roselló (Majorca), Ponç Pons (Minorca), Bernat Joan, Júlia Roig Whittle, Pau Sarradell, Pep Tur and Vicent Tur (Ibiza) and Maria Teresa Ferrer (Formentera), who will recite various compositions, accompanied on the cello by the musician Miquel Angel Aguilo.
El Saturday 5 of October 2024 at 12 pm la Church of San Antonio hosts the tribute to one of the most important figures of recent Pitiusan culture: Nora Albert, with a recital in which they participate Fanny Tur, the singer Joan Murenu, the actress Àngels Escandell and Portmany group.
