The Ibizan artistic foundation Ses Dotze Naus presents HYDRO LOGICALa whirlpool bath, site-specific installation which constitutes its major exhibition this summer 2024 and which can be visited at The carpentry, the foundation's exhibition space.
The artists Paul Hauptmeier and Martin Recker have participated in the artistic residency organized every year by Ses Dotze Naus and in this exhibition they intend to reflect on the complexities of our relationship with water.
During their residency, both artists have focused on exploring the complex feedback mechanisms between the sea and freshwater resources, musically mapping different aquatic ecosystems, as well as the modern and historical infrastructure of the island.
