El hotel Ocean Drive Ibiza, one of the most active cultural and creative spaces on the island, hosts the exhibition “Internal emotions”, a pictorial proposal by the Ibizan artist Mireia Colomar Guasch which invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a visual universe guided by emotions.
The exhibition brings together a series of acrylic works on canvas in which the artist explores the color, gesture and texture as ways to express what is often difficult to put into words. Colomar works with unconventional materials such as small wooden sticks, cardboard forks, or paintbrushes, which allow you to generate organic and spontaneous effects on the surface of the canvas.
Her creative process stems precisely from this need to translate feelings into images. The artist explains that she began painting when she felt that words were not enough to express what she felt, finding in the Painting is a direct and free way to channel emotionsFrom there, his work develops in a way intuitive, letting himself be carried away by the movement, the energy of the color and the attraction he feels for certain chromatic combinations at any given moment.
The result are abstract compositions charged with visual intensityWhere Each stroke and each texture reflects an emotional state Specifically, in this exhibition, the visitor encounters a dialogue between emotion and matter, between creative impulse and personal experience.
The exhibition takes place at Ocean Drive Ibiza, a hotel located in Marina Botafoch, known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere and its ongoing commitment to culture, music, and contemporary art in Ibiza. Its spaces regularly host exhibitions, creative gatherings, and cultural events that connect the hotel with the local art scene.
