The Valencian writer Joan Benesiu stars in the cycle “Shared Letters”, a literary event that brings together prominent voices of Catalan literature from different parts of the Mediterranean each year.
On this occasion, the author of «Terminus» (Alicante, 1971) visits the island to participate in two meetings open to the public in the Can Ventosa Municipal Library, in Ibiza city.
The first is 8 October 2025 Wednesday at 20 pm, With the presentation of his novel "Terminus" with the poet and cultural manager Carles Fabregat, member of the EFTA in the Balearic Islands.
Al día siguiente, el Thursday October 9 at 19 pm, both will share a book club also dedicated to "Terminus", where attendees will be able to talk directly with the author about his work and creative process.
The program is completed on Friday 10 2025 October and with a private chat at the Escola d'Art d'Ibiza, where Benesiu will talk with the students about literature, thought and artistic creation.
“Lletres shared” is an initiative promoted by the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes, the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua, the Fundació Mallorca Literària, the Institut Menorquí d'Estudis and the Associació d'Writers en Llengua Catalana (AELC), with the support of CEDRO.
Its aim is to promote cultural exchange between Catalan-speaking territories and bring contemporary literature to new audiences.
