"Marginalia. Warrior Snails"lands in the Far de ses Coves Blanques from San Antonio with a proposal as surprising as it is unexpected: a journey into the imagination of those curious armed snails that appeared in the margins of incunabula between the 13th and 14th centuries.
The exhibition brings together 19 artists that reinterpret this historical enigma from contemporary languages, creating a dialogue between the medieval and the modern with a point of humor, criticism and fantasy.
The exhibition includes Romanie Sanchez Smele, Nourathar Ibz, Joanna Hruby, Miguel Farriol Vidal, Ezequiel Arte Herrera, Goya Sandic Tur, Gustavo Eznarriaga Fernández, Elizabeth Rose Langford, Vicente Torres Noguera, Ana Jakimow, Juan García García, Antonia Torres Tur, Pep Monerris “Bagaix”, Isa Feu, Xavier Asenjo Marí, Luis Cabezudo, Miguel Contreras and Daniel Marí Planellseach contributing their personal perspective to these unusual shelled fighters.
