"Mirades”, is a proposal driven by Pure Flamenco Ibiza which goes beyond the traditional format to raise the flamenco as a living language, in constant dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity.
The show offers us a scenic journey that connects different disciplines of Spanish dance, from the from bolero school to stylized dance, with the expressive power of Flemish and subtle brushstrokes of classic balletbuilding a carefully crafted visual and emotional narrative.
The show is directed by Santiago de FuentesA key figure in the dissemination of flamenco on the island, he brings together on stage a cast that explores different ways of understanding movement and expression. Alongside him are dancers such as Sara Lorente, Sara Rosado and Eva Ramón, contributing diverse nuances within the same artistic vision.
The proposal is completed with live music, an essential element in the production, with Toni Muñoz on the guitar, Albert Cases to singing and Cani Huertas to the percussion, creating an organic sound base that accompanies each piece with intensity and sensitivity.
The stage design is by Pedro Chico, while the lighting is designed by Ursula Ponsarreinforcing the show's aesthetic identity. The artistic direction also falls to him. Santiago de Fuentes.
The show takes place on 30 May 2026 Saturday at 20:00h at the Theater Spain, one of the main cultural spaces of Santa Eulalia.
