oronelles o swallows They return every year announcing the changing of the seasons, but they also remind us of the fragility of the ecosystems they share with us. From this idea was born “Oronelles”, a collective exhibition that brings together numerous artists from Ibiza and Formentera around the same piece: a Swallow figure made of ceramic and freely altered per participant. The result is a a diverse, colorful exhibition full of personal interpretations which makes these birds the absolute protagonists.
The initiative is presented in the Puig des Molins Monographic MuseumOne of the island's most emblematic heritage sites, declared a World Heritage Site along with the surrounding Punic necropolis. The project establishes an interesting dialogue between contemporary art, historical heritage, and nature, inviting visitors to reflect on the importance of protecting species that are fundamental to Mediterranean biodiversity.
Beyond the artistic component, the exhibition coincides with the celebration of World Environment Day and focuses on swallows as a symbol of renewal, fidelity and prosperityEach work offers a different perspective on these migratory birds, creating a journey where creativity, ecological awareness, and cultural commitment coexist.

The museum opens from Tuesday to Thursday from 09:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m., Friday from 09:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, Saturdays from 09:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.It is closed on Mondays and public holidays.
A perfect opportunity to discover how a simple ceramic figure can be transformed into dozens of different stories and, at the same time, remember that natural heritage also needs to be cared for to continue being part of the Ibiza landscape.
