Ibiza is once again positioning itself as an international cultural meeting point with the arrival of the second edition of Ray of Light Awards (ROLA)A festival that goes beyond cinema to explore the power of stories as a tool for personal and collective change, culminating its weekend within the program of Fantasy Ibiza Festival, a leading cultural event on the island, which is celebrating its fourth edition.
From 25 to 31 May 2026The island hosts this project born in memory of the actor ray stevenson, which brings together filmmakers, musicians and creators from around the world around a clear idea: the stories we consume directly influence how we understand the world.
Unlike other festivals, ROLA is conceived as a live platform where film engages in dialogue with music, reflection, and shared experience. Over several days, the program combines screenings, meetings between artists, and open conversations for the publiccreating a space where creativity and thought naturally intersect.
The festival's focus revolves around narratives that speak of transformation, human connection, nature, or personal growth, focusing on content that not only entertains, but also invites introspection.
The festival is held at various venues: Boutique Hostal La Curandera de Salinas, the La Nave Salinas Foundation, Juntos Farm, as well as the Bastion of Saint Lucia in Dalt Vila, where the grand Final Gala will take place.
With a clear international focus and a strong connection to Ibiza, Ray of Light Awards continues to establish itself as a unique event on the island's cultural calendar, where cinema becomes a starting point for something broader: a global conversation about the present and the future.
