Attention, photography lovers! This month April 2026The municipality of San José is once again filled with photography with a new edition of Sant Josep is PhotoThis year's festival boasts a truly comprehensive program. For several weeks, various venues throughout the municipality will host events. exhibitions, activities and meetings that connect local and international talentconsolidating the festival as one of the most important cultural events on the island.
Exhibitions
The main focus of the program consists of the exhibitions, spread across locations such as the Caló de s'Oli Auditorium, Can Jeroni or Can Curt.
Among them, proposals such as the following stand out: Anton Calpagiu, focused on the Ibizan landscape from a contemporary perspective; Alain Keralen, with a visual narrative somewhere between documentary and artistic; or the exhibition of Toni Catany, one of the great names in Spanish photography, with his unique vision of the Mediterranean.
This is in addition to the exposure of Lluís Real, which explores new visual languages, and the selection of images from the Photo Marathon 2025, which gathers the talent that emerged in the previous edition.
Sant Josep és Foto Program
Beyond the theaters, the festival offers a vibrant and participatory program. Highlights include events such as Express Photobookfocused on the creation and editing of photographic projects, or FotoCineColor, which opens the dialogue between photography and moving image.
They are also developed presentations, talks and exchange spaces designed for professionals as if to Aficionados.
One of the key moments comes with the II Sant Josep és Foto Photography Congress, which brings together photographers and creators for several days to share processes, experiences and new perspectives in a close and specialized format.
The program is complemented by participatory initiatives such as the Photo Marathon, which invites visitors to explore the municipality with their camera in hand, making the territory an active part of the festival.
The contest is held from 26 from March to 3 from May of 2026 in different areas of the municipality of San José.
