El Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza (MACE) organizes Cicerone, an exciting seminar promoted by the Amics MACE which offers us three talks with great professionals from the art world.
The VIII Edition of the Cicerone Seminar is held on October 23, 24 and 28, 2025.
All talks are presented and led by the director of MACE, Elena Ruiz and are celebrated at 19:00h at the Assembly Hall from MACE.
In this activity, you'll enjoy interesting educational talks that will help you foster critical thinking and help you analyze various aspects of the art world better and in greater depth.
The cycle starts the Thursday 23 October 2025 with the talk "Trends in contemporary art", by the Majorcan Enrique Juncosa, writer and independent exhibition curator. Juncosa will discuss ten notable trends in the current art scene, which is seeing a revival of women and Black artists, all within a context of identity-based searches, new technologies, political activism, and more.
El Friday 24 2025 October the journalist from Tenerife Juan Cruz will speak in «Journalism and danger"on literary matters, such as his own and others' literature, and will also analyze the complex current affairs from the perspective of journalism, in addition to discussing the role of the journalist today."
To finish, the Tuesday October 28 2025 the Mallorcan writer and poet Jose Carlos Llop will offer the presentation “The Gold Diggers: A Poetics”, addressing the intricacies of poetic creation from various points of view.
