The cultural association Friends of the Escacs organize another year Ibiza Chess Festival, a chess event that will bring together professionals and amateurs to enjoy three days of tournaments.
Ibiza Chess Festival is celebrated from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 of October of 2025 en THB Ocean Beach and Invisa Es Pla, in San Antonio.
The tournament will bring together both professional and amateur players over the course of three days in this now classic chess event on the island.
This year they participate 110 players represented to 15 countries.
Among them, the Ukrainian champion stands out Angelika Valkova; the great teacher Tomás Sosa, arrived from Argentina; the Iranian player Niusha Ashfrein; the player Alina Baguizina of Kazakhstan; or the representative of Andorra Julia Muraret.
In addition, there will be a free play space for all fans who want to play a game or learn more about this sport.
