The Ibiza Town Council, through its Department of Equality, has prepared several very interesting activities this year to commemorate the International Women's Day, which is celebrated worldwide on March 8, with a broad and diverse program that takes place throughout March 2026.
The calendar brings together a wide variety of proposals that combine culture, critical thinking, sport and educationAmong them, the conference “Impactful communication and female leadership"Of Monica Galán, the Saturday 7 of March of 2026 at 19:30 p.m. in the Can Ventosa Auditorium.
That same space previously hosted the works of "Violet Planet" theater (aimed at educational centers, at the Casal de Igualdad, on Thursday, March 5th in the morning) and “Ready, set… GO!, on the same day at 18:30 p.m. in the Can Ventosa Auditorium.
El Sunday 8 March 2026 it is celebrated Race for the donut. You have all the information HEREThat same morning, between 10:30 and 12:30, Vara de Rey hosts workshops, batucada, rally, information tables and participatory activities, with reading of manifest institutional at 13:00 hours.
The program continues with proposals such as the Equal escape room “Women in Music“(Friday, March 13, 2026, from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. at the Casal de Igualdad, with prior registration), the show “I love you, Lorca"(Monday, March 16th at 18:00 PM at Can Ventosa, for adult audiences) and the film forum with discussion organized by Dones Progressistes on Thursday, March 19th at 19:30 pm at the Casal de Igualdad.
All activities are Returns (except for the Cursa per la Dona, whose registration costs 8 euros), although algunas require of pre-registration
