The restaurant The Celler de Can Pere Santa Eulalia hosts a charity dinner to benefit the Elena Torres Association for Research for the Early Detection of CancerThe event aims to raise funds for the scientific project led by the CSIC researcher. Priscilla Monteiro Kosaka, focused on achieving an early cancer detection test through a simple blood test.
A fun and charitable evening that takes place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 from the 20 hours.
The event will feature a delicious special menu for a donation price of 75 Euros which includes Christmas soup, roast beef or pork with grilled vegetables as a main course, and greixonera with vanilla ice cream and caleta coffee for dessert.
The drinks, Water, soft drinks, beer and wine, they are also included.
This dinner is one of many initiatives the organization is undertaking to support this pioneering research, which is now in its fourth phase, conducting proof-of-concept trials with real samples in hospitals across the country. Since its founding in 2015, the association has raised €600.000 for this cause, thanks to events like this and public support.
The restaurant already collaborated last October in the Pinktober campaign, managing to raise 900 euros for the association thanks to various awareness and solidarity actions.
